Hello again, recently my paternal grandfather passed so I've felt a bit down, first death in the family for me. It wasn't very surprising seeing as he had health issues, but still sad. He was 86.

My coworker very kindly covered my shift for me the day after I found out, so I went to my grandparents' house to spend time with my dad and my grandma. Here's a couple cute pictures of my Grandpa and I from when I was little

On a lighter note, my boyfriend and I have tickets to the Nier orchestra in NYC for January, I'm so excited! I'll be wearing the gothic lolita coord from my last blog post, pretty fitting for the event in my opinion. I've finished Replicant but I think the music will be fairly Automata heavy, so I've started that game and I'm hoping to finish before January.

Hello again! Recently my best friend finally returned from Thailand after 5 weeks, I'm so glad she made it back safe. 

The other day we went to eat hotpot/bbq to catch up, always so yummy! I used this outing to finally wear my gothic lolita coord I've been planning

I really like how it turned out! The blouse and jsk are both from Alice and the Pirates <3

Birthday

Hello again! The other day (10/17) was my birthday! My boyfriend went all out for me this year. First thing we did was eat at my favorite restaurant with a couple friends, then we came back to the house so I could open presents. This is what I was presented with when I got home:

The smaller cake had fake dessert takoyaki on top made from Dunkin Donuts munchkins, it actually looked pretty realistic! He added white chocolate drizzle and some toasted coconut to resemble bonito flakes, then some mint on top for garnish.

For gifts he got me the healing stick from Healin' Good Precure, a Blythe doll, a Suigintou pop up parade figure and an adorable Miku nendoroid doll! I also received a My Melody pajama set, Miku branded gfuel and a tote bag (pictured behind the larger cake) that he designed for me <3

Hello again! The other day I finally returned home from lots of travel. My boyfriend and I went to NYC for a couple nights (stayed in Flushing like usual) and then got home at around 1AM only to leave again but this time we were going to Maine. I had to wake up bright and early,  I was so tired (╥﹏╥)

When we arrived in Flushing there was a lady at a table outside a store selling stuff and my boyfriend bought me this adorable keychain, I named her Mimi

He went back there later shortly before she closed up and bought this really cool crochet peach tree

Hello again! The other day (9/7/25) was my anniversary! My boyfriend and I have been together now for 4 years~

Unfortunately we both had to work on the day of our anniversary, but we went to McDonald's after to celebrate. It was really fresh this time! Very satisfying after a long day at work. I also tried their new milkshake, they were advertising it in there and they got me lol. It was so yummy! It tasted like raspberries and the colors were so pretty

Also, I finished my first playthrough of Nier Replicant! Ending A was kind of bittersweet, though I hear it gets worse. My boyfriend recently finished all of his playthroughs, I'm currently on my second and it's already really sad. Beautiful game though, I love the characters and the soundtrack. When I was at the beginning of my second playthrough my boyfriend put together this little tea tray for me and I took a break for a second, so sweet~

On another note, I recently ordered some clothes from Alice and the Pirates! I'll be putting together a gothic lolita coord this fall. So excited!

Hi again! Life has been rather unadventurous lately, I've just been going to work, eating, sometimes reading or playing a game and sleeping. The weather is starting to cool off here though, hopefully the change of seasons will spur some motivation in me. I've been occasionally hanging out with my old friend I reconnected with (Savannah) so that's been a fun change of pace. I feel like my life has stagnated a bit too much lately and I feel like some change or a habit that actually sticks is needed, something stimulating. 

I've progressed a lot in Nier Replicant, only thing is I may want to do another playthrough because I neglected a lot of side quests in this one. I'm really enjoying the game though! When I'm done writing this post I'll probably go play some more. 

This fall I wanna try dressing up and going for walks more, something I say I'll do every year but only actually accomplish once or twice. I love that when the weather gets colder, it opens up more opportunities for elaborate/layered outfits! I really cannot stand the heat.

Hello again! I haven't updated at all this month so I thought I might as well do so now. 

Last week was hectic, I reconnected with an old friend from high school and she came over to our place with her boyfriend for an outdoor cookout/BBQ thing my boyfriend and I hosted! We even had a speaker setup out on the patio! It was lots of fun.

Also I officially switched over to the produce department at work, no more 50/50 janitor and produce. The produce manager initially really wanted me for his department, and the main reason I'm making the switch is because I think the produce manager is really good at his job and he seems to appreciate my work ethic a lot, something that seems to be a rarity these days. I've been finding the store management to be a bit obnoxious and borderline unprofessional lately so I'm hoping this keeps them away from me to an extent. I can only take so much of their fuckboy energy lol

As an aside, I started playing Nier Replicant today! I'm finding it really interesting so far, I like the music and visuals a lot. It's a bit out of my comfort zone, but I think I'll get better as I play it. Nier has been on my backlog for quite some time and I've been trying to play more games lately so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Hello again! The heat and humidity here has been awful lately, further sapping my motivation...

Work has been alright, it really feels like people have been getting on me about going full time though. I'm not going full time no matter how much they beg, I'm a good worker for my own peace of mind and I'd really prefer to stay part time. I'm working more than I'd like to be as it is but any fewer hours and I'd be really struggling to get by. Stupid people there that assume their experiences align with everyone else's have also been getting on my nerves... full time isn't the trophy for me that it seems to be for them, it would be a sign that I've given up. 

Anyway, on a lighter note I saw the new Fantastic 4 movie with my boyfriend last night! I really enjoyed it. I've been trying to do more with my days off but I feel like there's just no time... 

Once again I don't have much to update with this time, hopefully I'll have more exciting things to post about here come this fall when we go on a bunch of trips. I can't wait for summer to be over, sigh...
