Animal Crossing

Hello again! So I've had ACNH (Animal Crossing: New Horizons) for a few years now, but I've hardly progressed... my boyfriend has visited my island quite a few times to bring me things, such as clothes, flowers, and other things to help get my island started! As I mentioned in my last post, I'm trying to play Animal Crossing more (partially to soothe the loss of CPJ... RIP) but mostly because its a really cute game and I've wanted to be playing it more! Maybe it'll help with my recently worsening general anxiety as well. Here's a few recent screenshots:

Hello again, you know how the other day I posted about Club Penguin Journey and how I was having a lot of fun playing Club Penguin again? Well, unfortunately the site was abruptly shut down yesterday, and many of us in the discord server woke up to see the announcement... apparently the staff running the game had become victims to constant harassment and doxxing, by some really scummy people from what I've heard. Not sure what kind of a lowlife you have to be to rain on everyone's parade like that, an innocent game that many of us were nostalgic for and having fun with again as adults. I don't know the whole story but I've heard that there's been hackers going around and targeting all of the Club Penguin servers out there because... they don't like that people are bringing this back or they have something against it existing despite no longer being owned by Disney maybe? I'm not entirely sure but come on... these people need to get a life. I'm gonna try and get going with my island on Animal Crossing though, so I'll probably be posting about that soon! My Bag

Hello! Today I wanted to share a bag that I decorated~ I've been using this as my everyday purse for... probably the past two years or so, and parts of it are always changing. This bag is my pride and joy! It's made from two vinyl iridescent tote bags, pinned and sewn together with various adornments.

New Blog

Hello again! Just wanted to share a little bit about why I've decided to start a blog like this in 2024, somewhat recently I've made the decision to quit social media, and I've been using Bluesky (Twitter clone) as the only social media account I have left. Unfortunately on that site there's not many people I want to follow, and it feels like it's not really picking up so I will probably stop using it soon. I really don't like the direction that most social media platforms have gone in, and I hate short form video content which is now EVERYWHERE thanks to tiktok so... idk this feels like what I've needed for a long time I guess! I love to customize and decorate everything too so that's a plus~ I'm just gonna pretend it's 2006 lol

Club Penguin

Hello! Today I will be talking about a rekindled interest of mine known as "Club Penguin." Many of you have probably heard of this now shut down MMO, either through its past popularity or because you played it yourself when you were younger. I first joined Club Penguin in 2007 with the username "Pimala7." At the time I was signing up I asked my mom what a good username would be, and the first thing that came to mind was "Pimala" because she had just been at a PTO meeting at my school with a lady named Pamela. Unfortunately that username had already been taken somehow, so I added my age, which was 7 at the time. Club Penguin shut down in 2017, and since then there have been multiple recreations of it, many of which have shut down. A few months back I heard of a fairly new one called Club Penguin Journey, which I signed up for an account on and also joined their discord server, which informs users of updates, events, and gives players a way to chat outside of the game (since probably most of us if not basically all of us are adults now lol) This has been so fun and nostalgic for me! This is our cat, Mikuru! My boyfriend has raised her since she was a kitten. She was born in spring of 2009~

 She's just so cute and full of personality. She still acts like a kitten, despite being 15 years old! She loves her people and is very fun and playful with us, but not so much other people and animals. She's not a treat cat but she goes nuts for baby food (specifically peas.) Love this little weirdo.
