Hi again! I finally feel like I'm getting somewhere with the moving process... it has definitely been a bit stressful but I'll probably be getting some help with the removal of furniture and stuff that used to be my dad's. Anyway, here's some stuff I've been up to aside from moving. Since I received notice that I have to move only 7 days before the New York trip for my birthday, my mind has been very preoccupied with that and I haven't had the motivation to do much. I've been wanting to make a post about the back patch my boyfriend designed/ordered for me! I ordered a denim jacket with this awesome faux fur collar off of depop a little over a year ago now, but it was a bit tight under the arms. Determined to make it work for me, I cut off the sleeves just before the seam and turned it into a vest! After that I proceeded to decorate the hell out of it. This post will probably be pretty random, there's a lot that I want to cover that I've been meaning to post about for awhile. Here's what the vest currently looks like:

The back patch! It's supposed to say " Pickle princess" in Japanese but the character for "Pickle" refers to a Japanese pickled radish rather than a western pickle (my boyfriend's nickname for me is Pickle) but that's okay, it's still super cute and I love it!
While cleaning out my bedroom closet at my apartment I found this old binder of mine that I believe I used to keep my sheet music in for my singing lessons when I was a teenager. I also found some of my old artwork in there from when I was a teenager. The little pink stones and purple leopard print hearts were already there, but I added further decoration recently and decided I'll put this binder to use again.
"Voi, che sapete" from "The Marriage of Figaro" by Mozart, a song I became quite proficient in during my singing lessons

I added a reusable tote bag I bought in Thailand and a folding fan to the front pocket

Drawing I did when I was 15

I even decorated the side and the back of the binder and added a little charm that's attached by the top ring

The back is just a plastic Hello Kitty bag that I folded the handle under and put a sheet of printer paper in so it would be less transparent

This isn't necessarily for Christmas or anything, but I added some lights to the doily under my keyboard~ I think it looks really pretty and adds something to my desk!
That's all for now. Until next time!
